The Shepherd's Bush Families Project and Children's Centre supports children and families living in insecure accommodation that may also be unsafe and overcrowded. The pressure on these families is enormous, as is the uncertainty about when, if ever, they will find a forever home.
The charity provides a range of services, including after school clubs, counselling, advice on housing rights and signposting, along with opportunities for get-togethers for parents and carers and a safe place to bring their children to play. Food, laughter, conversation and connection all play a big part in this community.
